W. Calvin Falwell: Chairman
Calvin began Falwell Well Corporation in 1937. The name was later shortened to Falwell Corporation where Calvin still sits as Chairman of the Board today. In 1944, he became a licensed pilot and three years later he and his brother Lawrence opened Truck Body Corp. In 1962, Calvin was responsible for bringing, what would become the Hillcats baseball team, to Lynchburg. In 1965, he formed the Lynchburg Baseball Corporation and is still the president today. In 2004, Falwell Aviation opened their Jet Center at Lynchburg Regional Airport.
